The small desk from Les Ateliers Vau Fontaine is very simple, and its elegance lies in sobriety and a few details: strict lines, tapered sheath legs, clean and slender, and on the top, crossed inlaid lines to emphasize its purity of form, and edges beveled at 75° resting on the top of the legs. Under the top, a small flush drawer, almost invisible, carried by oak slides, for smooth and silent gliding. It has "something" difficult to define. We're told people stop to look at it...

Traditional mortise and tenon joinery with acacia or walnut pegs.
